A little about me...

I'm an animal lover turned farmer's wife living in rural Iowa.  I grew up in the South, Arkansas to be exact.  I love the South and my Southern roots, even if I have lost most of the accent. After marrying my husband, we decided that we wanted to move back to his homeland (lovingly referred to as God's Country) and begin the process of taking over the family farm. My husband bought me my first DSLR camera last fall so that I could capture everything my heart desired about my first year in this new world called the Midwest.  After a learning curve (that's still curving!), a long, cold winter, a few trips back home, and hundreds of photos, I think I'm ready to begin sharing my photographs with the world.  Let's begin.
